When you choose a subject using the Browse panel, the list of matching books is displayed in the Browsing Results list.
Each result is a book. The matching books are listed on one or more page(s).
The number of results (and the subject you have chosen to browse) appears at the top of the list.
Each result consists of the cover illustration, the name of the book, its author, and its date of publication. Depending on the results options selected, the abstract and other information may also be displayed. To view a popup abstract of a book at any time, move the cursor over its title.
To open any of the books at the table of contents, click on its title.
The number of pages of results are shown at the top and bottom of the list on the right. To move to any of the numbered pages, click on it.
The standard number of results is 10 per page, but you can alter this up to a maximum of 100.
Results are listed by Title - A to Z.
You can also choose to order them by:
- Title - Z to A
- Date - Old to Recent
- Date - Recent to Old
- Author - A to Z
- Author - Z to A
There are three options for viewing results. To select one, click on it.
Minimal detail: title of the book, its author, and publication date.
Medium detail: title, author, publication details, and the first few lines of the abstract.
Maximum detail: title, author, publication details, and the complete abstract.
To download a pdf of the Browsing Results list, click Download complete list of books in this ... collection (pdf). It is displayed in your pdf viewer.
To print the book page (cover image, title, author(s), abstract, keywords, and bibliographical information), click . A printable version is displayed in your browser.
To send an email link to the Browsing Results list (regardless of whether the recipient has an OSO2/UPSO subscription), click . Fill in the details as appropriate. The email will contain a link which will be valid for the next two weeks.
To share a link to the Browsing Results list on any of over 300 sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Googlemail, etc.), click and choose one of the options.
To switch between standard (default) and large chapter text use the buttons.
