Death, It's What Ails You
Death, It's What Ails You
This chapter looks at death. It talks about feeling appalled at the prospect of one's own extinction and outrage at the impending loss of someone known personally because no one remotely like any of us has ever been born and no one remotely like any of us will ever come again. It also discusses the efforts of religion and devotional literature to reconcile people to dying.
