Art and Craft
Art and Craft
This chapter is about art and craft. It suggests that labor is responsible for works of art because if not for labor then every talented person would be an artist. It also highlights the importance of work, knowledge, and skill to produce a craft. This chapter also argues that we have no business creating standards and rewarding or punishing artists insofar as they meet or fail to meet these standards because the mind has no capacity for absolute knowledge.
Keywords: art, craft, labor, artist, talented person, work, knowledge
