Some Proposed Complementary Solutions to the Problems of Psychoanalytic Education
This chapter serves as a conclusion to the discussion on psychoanalytic education, wherein it provides proposals to the problems of psychoanalytic education. Some of the proposed solutions may be considered controversial and some that are self-evident. This chapter introduces the idea of the training analyst, the supervisory experience, seminars, research, candidate selection and evaluation, graduation requirements, society membership, the curriculum on theory of psychoanalytic technique, and the administration and structure of the institute.
