Dr. Pitre's Nominal Aphasia
This chapter focuses on the author's experience in meeting American musician Bob Dylan and his thoughts about his music. It provides the text of the author's 1978 Dylan review and also discusses his diagnosis of having Pitre's nominal aphasia. The chapter highlights the seriousness of the forgetfulness problem for expatriates such as himself, who have to remember deadlines and know something about the rules and regulations of two different bureaucracies.
