This chapter argues that twentieth-century Kabbalah lacks continuity but instead aims to show its stylistic and even substantive innovations. It adds that despite the innovative character of twentieth-century Kabbalah, classical Kabbalah is not necessarily homogeneous. It explains that classical Kabbalah can be described by different currents and paradigms.
