Society is constituted by dependence and it is a source of disorder. This has an impact on moral life, and therefore on politics. Part III looks at the moral dimension of society and relates it to Rousseau's ideas on moral life and society. Ways of resolving and composing society hinge on one fact that comes from common sense.
