This chapter analyzes the life of Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab. It states that Ibn Abd al-Wahhab was a bearer of personal charisma who, by virtue of his mission, proclaimed a religious doctrine or a divine commandment. It also describes the career of Ibn Abd al-Wahhab. Jihad was a part of his writing. A veritable acculturation machine was formed by Ibn Abd al-Wahhab, which produced encouraging results. In the heart of Najd, the Al-'Arid district was “Hanbali-Wahhabized” toward the end of his life.
