I have been walking by your haunts for decades without even knowing it, because the Archives Nationales where I do much of my research are right in the middle of the neighborhood you inhabited your whole life: rue Pecquay where you lived when first married, various addresses on what is now the rue des Archives, including the stunning Hôtel de Guénégaud mansion that is today the Fondation de la Chasse.
